EXCELR8 Motorsport has an exciting opportunity to join our MINI JCW team operation for the 2027 season. EXCELR8 Motorsport is an established race winning and Championship winning team.
To be considered for this role, you will need previous experience of a comparative role within motorsport or experience within a garage or dealership environment. You will need to have drive, determination and a can-do attitude to succeed in this role.
The role will require you to work on our MINI JCW race cars at the racetrack. You need to have a keen eye for detail and a dedicated work ethic.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist with routine mechanical servicing under guidance, including fast fluid changes (oil, brakes, and cooling systems).
Manage racing wheel and tyre logistics, including tracking tyre pressures, scraper tools, monitoring wear patterns, and ensuring slicks/wets are ready for sudden weather shifts.
Execute rapid panel and component replacement (e.g., bumpers, splitters, or wings damaged during close-quarter JCW racing).
Clean and detail the carbetween track sessions to maintain the professional branding standards required by team sponsors
Construct and deconstruct the pit garage infrastructure at the start and end of each race meeting (including flooring, walling, gantry systems, and tool chests).
Organise tracking and support equipment, keeping parts inventories neat, tidy, and accessible for rapid deployment.
Maintain tool safety and cleanliness, ensuring the working environment is kept to an elite motorsport standard
